Local Raleigh artist Eric Armitage contacted me about creating artwork for his debut album entitled 00SixTape. Alongside his roommate, Eric recorded and edited the entire album in their apartment, Apt 006. Eric wanted the artwork to pay homage to the physical space that fostered this musical endeavor and asked that he and his roommate be featured as well. This piece came to life with humor and symbolism that portrays the complicated relationship between an artist and their work, as well as a few inside jokes between the roommate-collaborator pair.
