This animation was born from a fascination with Studio Ghibli's mouthwatering portrayals of food and Blender's grease pencil tool. I was curious to see if I could make a school lunch look as tantalizing as some Ghibli ramen while teaching myself to use the grease pencil. I am quite happy with the result and managed to make progress learning the tool with some trial and error, as there were very few resources out there for how to use the tool when this project was made.
